Milo Cup Cricket

Our Milo Cup Cricket team had their second match today (1st March 2012). We are happy to say that Reremoana School had their first Milo Cup win today. We played our match against Karaka School at the Drury Sports Grounds.

Our team lost the toss and were sent in to bat first. We had a great start with Connor and Connor standing firmly. A special word of congratulations to Connor Massen for an excellent 50 not out. This is the best batting performance by any player in our school's history. Well done Connor, and keep it up. The Black Caps need all the help they can get. Our team scored 117 runs in the 20 overs. That was the most runs ever scored by our school.

Our fielding effort turned out to be another excellent performance and team effort. We ran 3 batsmen out and the rest were bowled out by: Jacob (2 Wickets), Clark (2 Wickets), Cameron (2 Wickets) and Bradley (1 Wicket). We had all the Karaka School batsmen out for 19 runs. What a great performance.

We enjoy playing cricket and had lots of fun playing today. Thanks to the parents that took us today and Milo for sponsoring this event.
