Non Stop Cricket

On the 2nd March we had a sports celebration. The year 7 and 8 students took the entire school to play non stop cricket.

Non stop cricket is a faster version of cricket and every student that wanted to play had an opportunity to play. The objective is to hit the ball as far as you can and run as many runs as possible.

All the students had lots of fun and it was a great opportunity to organise something nice for the younger students.

Rice Art!

This year for the gala the year 8 students made Rice Art, it is also known as Rangoli Art.

The idea is to take colored grains of rice and create beautiful patterns. It is not that easy, you have to show a lot of resilience, because it takes a long time and it is difficult to place the grains of rice evenly.

You put pva glue on the pattern and then select the color you would like to use. Carefully place the grains of rice facing the same direction on the PVA. Leave it to dry.

Have a look at some of our art.
