Advanced Electronics!

This term for our technology rotation we have advanced electronics. In order to be part of the advanced electyronics program you had to complete the beginning electronics program first. This will give you the knowledge, skills and understanding you need to be able to participate in the advanced program. We are expected to work faster, know where things are and know and understand how to use the electroflash kits. We did a refresher section to remind us about the things we learnt last year. Today we learnt about resistors, how to calalculate their size and use them to manipulate the electric currant. We also used capacitors. The brief we had to solve was to create a quiz device we could use to do basic facts cometitions in class. Tomorrow we are going to build little intercom systems. That will require us to solder carefulle, read the plans and use diagrams to help us to assemble and test our devices.
